Ramon "REO” Owen

        My name is Ramon Owen, also known as REO.  I’m a producer currently residing in Sarasota, Florida.  About three years ago I realized the strange affinity I had with music.  I was always listening to the details that no one else seemed to care about.  Then I began asking myself questions like how did they get those strings to sound so real, why did they make that kick so dirty, and what made them choose that snare.  After not finding many answers from listening, I began to create my own music.

            Trust me you wouldn’t want me to play you the old stuff, I promise.  Through dedication and an undying passion for spreading my creative wings, I began to fall in love with being in control of what people danced, listened, or just hung out to.  Music was my new found passion and forever will be.

            I am currently working on many different projects in the Sarasota area.  I have been working extensively with an artist by the name of V.O.  He was reigning champ for six weeks of 106 and Parks Freestyle Friday program.   I also have a concept demo in the works with an eclectic mix of artist and music genres including Hip Hop, Rock, R and B, and House.
